President Evariste Ndayishimiye asks all others to condemn homosexuality
It is a message that began in the prayers organized by the Legislative Assembly of Burundi held on Wednesday of this week.

In his message, President Ndayishimiye said that homosexuality is a bad character that has emerged in the world where men marry each other and women marry each other.

President Ndayishimiye said that it is sad that there are people who teach the word of God and support the curse of homosexuality.

He says that homosexuality is a sin that God hates so much that in the early years he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of these sins.

He said, “When it comes to the sin of men marrying women and marrying each other, it is a curse that God cannot tolerate.”

He asked that anyone who engages in these habits be considered a criminal, even if he lives in countries that accept homosexuality, including the United States of America.

In condemning those who practice homosexuality , President Ndayishimiye assures that he will not allow the country to be cursed because of that group of people who are determined to disprove God’s ability in matters of reproduction.

He said, “It is forbidden to attract curses, the world is taking us to places we do not see clearly, and because it has become so small, that Satan even if it sits in California, he will attract you even if you sit here in Burundi.”

UMUSEKE’s information says that there are 24 homosexuals arrested on January 23, 2023, arrested in Gitega.

These include men and women who were detained while they were in training organized by the organization called “MUCO” with the support of USAID.

Where they are caught there are already many condoms and homosexuality laws.

President Evariste Ndayishimiye says that homosexuality is a culture that continues to be spread by Europeans to continue colonizing Africa.

About 68 countries in Asia and Africa continue to condemn homosexuality, and about 11 have imposed the death penalty for homosexuality.

In Burundi, they are punished with up to two years in prison and a fine determined by the Courts.
