Mentioned in the buy and sell of players: Onana, Kane, McTominay, Lukaku, De Gea, Mahrez

Manchester United are close to reaching an agreement to sign Inter Milan’s André Onana for around £50 million.

The 27-year-old Cameroonian will replace David de Gea, who spent 12 years in the club and left last month.

After a meeting between United and Onana’s successors on Monday, they are said to have reached an agreement on a five-year contract, which can be extended by one year.

But now it seems that it is not known that Onana will have already moved to Manchester United before the team’s trip to the United States of America which will start at the end of this week.

Coach Erik ten Hag knows Onana well after their time at Ajax, and is confident that he can become a real player for United, since the coach arrived at the club at the end of the year.

Onana spent seven and a half years at Ajax before moving to Inter in July 2022.

The talks between these two voices are not yet over
